Runhood Race Series Pop-Up Shop

The Race Series campaign ends as the last runner in Borobudur Marathon crossed the finish line. Here, we reflect on a project that spans over 725 miles, five cities, and six months.

It was started with the idea to celebrate the running culture, the people, and the places that endlessly championing the chronicle of countless miles and glory. On April 5th, we kick-started the Race Series project by releasing the first teaser of the collection in collaboration with Runhood, one of if not the best Indonesia’s running magazine to date.

JOGJA. The animated video boldly showed five locations of the most anticipated running events that would be held in Jogja, Bandung, Jakarta, Bali, and Magelang. The next day, we revealed the first of the series, Jogja to pay homage to the city that is forever known for its rich traditional and cultural heritage that blend perfectly with contemporary elements and ideas. From the busy streets of Malioboro to the soothing view of Candi Prambanan, running in Yogyakarta or ‘Jogja’ will give you an experience like nowhere else.

BANDUNG. The second rendition of the Race Series saw our very own runhood, Bandung. Aside from a way to celebrate the Bandung Marathon through this collection, for us, the Race Series: Bandung is a personal calling to the city that has raised, nurtured, and truly made us as a community of runners. In this opportunity, we invited one of Bandung’s most promising talents, Wiryawan Jaya to do a Lookbook photoshoot with us.

BALI. A paradise on earth, Bali, came in third in the Race Series as we celebrated the Maybank Bali Marathon, the most sought after race event that invited runners all across the globe to run in wonderful Island of the gods. In this special occasion, we joined heads with UMA Seminyak to hold a pop up shop where all runners from all over the world could train, shop, and have a good time with us.

JAKARTA. After an eventful journey in Bali, we packed up our bags and headed to The Big Durian for a marathon fest. As the nation’s capital and the melting pot of the ever-growing communities of runners, Jakarta never ceases to amaze us with a handful of fresh running tracks, people, and places to visit. To celebrate the spirit of marathon fest, we hold a special running hub at Cyclo Coffee where runners could shop the Race Series: Jakarta collection and join the Shakeout Run with Runhood. Familiar faces showed up for a very close and personal session.
